Writing is often seen as the glamour part of the publishing industry, just as actors and directors are the much hyped up part of the movie world. But behind all these people are those who ensure that the end product makes sense and is free of mistakes. The film editor is a key person in the making of movies and in print it is the proofreaders and editors who ensure the highest possible quality of the product.
By doing this course you have chosen to enter a highly regarded profession, and as you progress through its stages, you will be provided with all the skills and knowledge needed to be either as a freelance proofreader/editor working from home, on either a part time or full-time basis, or employed full-time within the publishing industry.

With this course you will have unlimited access to your own personal tutor who specialises in their field of study. It is your personal tutor's role to ensure that you receive constructive feedback and to deal with any queries you may have. You are more than welcome to telephone, fax or email your personal tutor.

Assessment Method
After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking.
