Zoologic Course Accreditations
SS&C recognizes the fact that certifications and designations are a competitive differentiator and one of the best ways to prove that employees have the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform their jobs. SS&C is proud to offer continuing education credits on web-based courses offered through our Zoologic Learning Solutions division.
Zoologic learning solutions help financial professionals obtain skills and knowledge needed on the job - and assist them in maintaining professional standing. Many of our web-based courses have been approved for various certification programs, continuing education units (CEUs) and continuing professional education units (CPEs).
We are constantly adding new certifications, so check back frequently. If you have taken an approved Zoologic course, follow the these instructions to get your certificate of completion for CE Credits.
Getting CE Credits
Many of the web-based courses offered through SS&C's Zoologic Learning Solutions division have been approved for various certification programs, continuing education units (CEUs) and continuing professional education units (CPEs).
To receive your Zoologic Certificate of Completion:
- Complete one of the Zoologic courses approved for credit and pass the comprehensive test (90% or higher on an easy test, 80% or higher on an average test, 70% or higher on a difficult test);
- Complete the application and evaluation form (Word format)
- (if you have difficulty accessing the form, call 1-800-482-2643); and
- Return the form to us. A certificate of completion will be mailed to you.
Not all courses are appropriate for credit with every accrediting organization. See the course catalog for specific credit details for each course title. Contact the individual organization for instuctions on obtaining credits.
National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)
Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in certain states can earn CPE credits with our approved self-study courses (www.NASBA.org lists the states accepting NASBA-CPE credits).
Zoologic Learning Solutions is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. American Institute of Banking (AIB)
The American Institute of Banking has approved designated courses for credits.

New York State Board for Public Accountancy (NYSBPA)
Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in New York state can earn CPE credits with Zoologic courses.

Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards has accepted designated Zoologic courses for continuing education credits.
CFP licensees should report their credits directly to the CFP Board.

Professional Achievement in Continuing Education (PACE)
Designated Zoologic courses have been accepted for PACE Recertification credits for Certified Life Underwriters (CLUs) and Chartered Financial Consultants (ChFCs).
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU)
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCUs) completing designated courses will be awarded points under the Continuing Professional Development program.
Credit Recognition from University of Phoenix
Designated courses are approved for application towards credits for University of Phoenix programs. Posting fees, limitations, and restrictions apply; contact the University of Phoenix Prior Learning Assessment Center for specifics: (480) 921-5340 / www.phoenix.edu/plac.
Courses may apply towards University of Phoenix credits in increments of .5 credits per 10 clock hours.
Registered Financial Planners Institute
The Registered Financial Planners Institute has accepted designated Zoologic courses for continuing education credits. Students that take any of these courses can apply the earned credit hours toward the RFP designation educational requirement of 75 hours, with passing of exams.
RFP licensees should report their credits directly to the Registered Financial Planning Institute. (www.rfpi.com/courses)
